Do you offer home visits?

Yes. Depending on your location, services may be available in your home, online, or a combination of both.

Each session is a maximum of 2 hours

What happens during birth preparation sessions?

Birth preparation sessions are tailored to your individual needs and may include:

  • Understanding how labour works

  • Labour comfort measures

  • Partner support strategies

  • Birth preferences and informed decision-making

  • Navigating common interventions

  • Preparing for the early postpartum period

When should I start birth preparation?

Many families begin between 24 and 34 weeks of pregnancy, although support can be helpful at any stage.

What is postpartum care?

Postpartum care provides support after your baby arrives and may include:

  • Emotional support and debriefing

  • Practical guidance for recovery

  • Infant feeding support

  • Newborn care education

  • Support as you adjust to parenthood

  • Encouragement and reassurance during the early weeks

How soon after birth can postpartum visits begin?

Visits can begin as soon as you feel ready, often within the first few days or weeks after birth.

Do you attend births?

No. My focus is on helping families prepare for birth and providing support during the postpartum period. Together, we explore your options, build confidence, and create practical plans for birth and early parenthood.

Can my partner attend?

Absolutely. Partners are encouraged to attend birth preparation sessions and are included in discussions about labour support, communication, comfort measures and practical ways to feel prepared.

Do you provide medical care?

No. Services through Abide Birth Collective are non-clinical and do not replace care from your midwife, doctor, obstetrician or other healthcare providers

How do I book?

You can book a complimentary discovery call through the website to discuss your needs, ask questions, and explore which services may be the best fit for your family.
